PhD students in my lab receive the tuition waiver, benefits, and the full graduate stipend that covers the living expenses.
My expectations of PhD applicants to my lab:
Coachability and eager to learn new knowledge.
Motivation and interest in basic/fundamental research in broad aerodynamics areas.
Strong academic background and critical thinking.
Curiosity and resilience to tackle revolutionary problems.
If you are interested in the MS program:
Same application procedure as the PhD program.
In your application, indicate how your MS study will be funded.
Please note that I rarely provide GRA support to MS students. If you are a highly motivated student with a strong background, you should consider a PhD.
If you are interested in joining RAA Lab as an undergraduate researcher:
I expect at least 8 hours/week commitment towards research.
I expect you to have a strong interest in pursuing a PhD degree, which doesn't need to be in my area.
Send me an email that includes (1) your interests in RAA Lab research, (2) your career objective and plan for grad school, and (3) your resume and transcript.
