Welcome to RAA Lab
The Rotorcraft Aerodynamics and Aeroacoustics (RAA) Lab at Oklahoma State University, led by Dr. Sicheng Kevin Li, advances research in Aerodynamics through the integration of experiments, computations, and theories. Our expertise spans unsteady aero-acoustics, vortex-wing interactions, rotor–ship airwake dynamics, advanced air mobility (AAM) noise modeling/measurements, and multi-fidelity aeromechanics simulations.
State-of-the-art facilities
Anechoic chamber, windshaper, time-resolved stereo PIV, 2D LDV, HPC nodes, B&K microphone arrays, dynamic rotor/wing gantry, metal and carbon fiber 3D printers, in-house codes: rotorcraft free-wake modeling, dynamic inflow modeling, broadband and tonal noise solvers.
